Meet the Team:

At FJT Legends we pride ourselves in pulling together some of the foremost experts in their respective Era of Dance.  Our team is not only highly dedicated to teach, which they do well, but have a combined industry experience of over 100 years.


Trudy Brink- Chairperson

With a history of Competitive Latin-­American and Ballroom, Free style, Rock n Roll that stretchesTrudy back over 22 years, including a prolific 2-year club administration and management. After training under the legendary Priscilla Myburgh as her protégé for most of her competitive career. Trudy has been teaching from a young age.


Valerie Stoffberg -  Deputy Chairperson

Having competed at a Championship level in Ballroom dancing and Latin for over 20 years, making several SA Championship finals. Poised to be one of our strongest Ballroom assets, with particular strengths being technique and posture training, as well as a special flair for teaching. Valerie is now supporting Trudy as Deputy Chairman of the club.


Vincent Naidoo - General Secretary


Through his varied experience in sales at Whirlpool, Vincent has very special skills for administration. He joined the club in the 1990's and was privileged to work closely with Miss Priscilla Myburgh. As General Secretary of the club, Vincent's role involves officiating the AGM, supporting the Club Chairperson and assisting the Management Committee in making decisions for the benefit of the entire club - such as advising on disciplinary matters, club policy and overseeing the efficient running of the club.


Jerome Stevens - Financial Officer


Jerome started dancing as a juvenile in primary school and concurred a few Championships into his early adulthood. As Club CFO, Jerome now spends his time balancing the books and badgering people to pay their fees on time. He is an esteem member of the public and very involve in youth projects. Heading up the Management team of an Eldorado Park soccer league, in conjunction with other community projects. Jerome has been teaching and dancing from an early age. 


Machelle Fritz - Operations Officer


Machelle is one of the original members who performed more on the administrative side of the club, but no stranger to the dance floor. Machelle is passionate in teaching and works very closely with the little ones in their basic routines.


Conrad Brink - Project Manager


Dedicated and committed coach. Danced as a juvenile but now takes on the role as the club's project, staff and member coordinator. Conrad enjoys managing our functions and liaise with all vendors.


Mrs Cynthia Smith - Assistant Coach


A Legend in the true sense of the word. Passion for lang-arm dancing from a young age.Principal coach in the adult social dance classes and enjoy introducing Ballroom and Latin dancing to our beginner dancers.
